Earth Song Discovery Farm designed, land cleared, site excavation, exterior walls built for eco-center
2008....
Spring/Summer.... eco-center walls enclosed, preparations for roof beams to be added
Summer.... Building new chicken barn, going to Medina Farmer's Market.
Fall/ Winter.... eco-center roofing started.
2009....
Spring.... 5,000 sq. ft. hoop greenhouse added, front growing field prepared.
Summer.... build spiral-shaped goat barn, give tours to home-school groups and others, added medicine wheel herb garden.
Fall.... finish roofing and enclosing eco-center.
2010....
Spring.... install air pipe heating/cooling system, back-fill and cover eco-center roof.
Summer/Fall.... build fruit cellar, install cistern, hook up alternative energy systems.
Winter.... install flooring, interior finishing work, develop classes.
2011....
Spring.... finish interior eco-center, install solar panels and wind tower, build blacksmithing shop.
Ongoing....
Host "WWoofer's" and other volunteer helpers to provide education and hands-on experiences in organic gardening and holistic lifestyle.
Partner with leaders, teachers and co-workers who will assist, manage and operate Earth Song.
Organize classes, workshops and guest speakers
Co-ordinate events, tours, etc. to encourage community involvement
